A short guide to Albert Tea

Although Blueberry Roasters is best known for high-quality, freshly roasted coffee, our range also includes delicious aromatic teas. Albert Tea offers carefully selected blends with additions that give each one its own character. Discover what makes them worth exploring.

The Albert Tea collection grew out of a passion for travel. The spices and fruits used in the blends come from distant corners of the world. Black, green, white and red tea styles, alongside herbs and spices, create combinations that appeal through both flavour and appearance.

Ingredients across the range include Bourbon vanilla, cardamom, coriander, hibiscus, sunflower petals, cornflowers, mixed peppercorns, elder, lemongrass, rosebuds, candied fruits such as orange, strawberries and much more. Each blend aims for a harmonious taste and captivating aroma.

Black teas: Italy, Ceylon or Darjeeling?

Black teas offer depth and strength, making them excellent partners for delicate but distinctive aromas.

Earl Grey Blue Flower combines black tea with the characteristic citrus flavour of bergamot from sunny Italy. Blue cornflowers give it an additional visual flourish.

For a classic cup, try Ceylon OP NUVARA ELIYA. The tea bushes grow in Sri Lanka’s highlands at elevations above 2,000 metres, producing a cup described here as fruity, with a clear cherry note.

Darjeeling First Flush offers another delicate option. Leaves from the first spring picking produce a particularly gentle yet nuanced cup.

Green teas: a classic cup or an herbal blend?

Sencha is one of the best-known green teas, valued for its freshness and mild flavour. Like other green teas, it contains naturally occurring antioxidant compounds.

The green blend called DETOX combines green tea with selected herbs. The name describes the blend’s positioning, not proof that it removes toxins or treats digestive problems. Choose it for its ingredients and flavour, while considering your own dietary needs.

Rooibos for a relaxing moment

ALBERT TEA Relax combines rooibos, hibiscus, lemon balm, candied orange, apple, peppermint, raspberry leaves, chamomile, sunflower petals, rose petals and lavender.

Together, these ingredients create a wonderfully fragrant infusion—an inviting companion for a quiet, relaxing break.
